Thanks - my goal was to have a nice garage to park the Corvettes in.

However, at 2 sections a day, and approximately 19 sections to go... plus another Hurricane season will be upon us soon here in FL... Dayyyyyuuummmmm I better get busy ! LoL... Oh, BTW, GarageFan, how is that Race Deck for use on floors that are not very level ?

Steve,

I responded to this question on the flooring thread, but basically I think it would depend on how uneven your floor is. If it was a bit of a depression it might not matter, but if you have bumps, that might cause some issues.

Jake,

Nice fleet you have there. I like the C5 - is that a 2000?

Also, give us the scoop on the other car & truck!

Thanks;

No, it's a '99 I picked it up in December locally. It's a really fun car. Sold my '87 just before getting this one. The other two are home built. I built the '39 chevy first and then the '34 Dodge pick up after that. Don't drink, don't smoke gotta do something with my time!

BTW, your garage and 'stable' collection are really coool : cool:. :D

Thanks. The C3 was sold recently, so the stable is down to just one Corvette. I was up to 3 for a while, but it was too good to last!

Sounds like you do a lot of your own work - I'm limited to waxing and oil changes.

Is that a 4-car garage you have there?

Yes, It's a 4 car garage but when you're like the guys in here, it's never enough room. I'm looking at some of the other garage pics including yours. I would really like to tackle the floor. They look great when finished. My problem is that all my building is done in the garage. Between the welding and grinding etc. I don't think there is any floor short of concrete that can take the beating.

Do you miss the older vette? I had a '69 stingray a long time ago. I still think about that car! The c-4 I just sold was a garage queen..that one didn't hurt quite as much when it went down the road. Guess I'll stop rambling...ha!

Great Floor, Cartract! - I just picked up some border at Carlisle this weekend that is checkered like yours, but will match the floor with a red edge. Once I get the floor laid and the wallpaper border (and pictures, neon, etc.) all put together, I'll post pictures!

Border I got from http://www.rolling-borders.com

Floor is on order from http://www.racedeck.com

Cheers!
