Steve,

Welcome to the Garage Forum! I'm sure you'll get some great advice here on the site. Let us know how your project goes and show us some photos along the way.:)

Sounds like a great project. How many cars will you be able to fit when you're finished with your building?

Good question, actually ! I am going to install a single post lift, and a decent bike lift, and I figure if I park the cars on a 45 deg. angle, I should be able to get about 10 cars and a couple of bikes in there ! Unless I feel the need to park my raggedy 'ole motorhome inside, then it's back to the drawing board ! Lol. Thank You Mr. Admin. for the welcome ! I look forward to being a long time member here, and also hope this site continues to grow !

Steve,

That sounds like a dream garage to me. Even if you don't fill it up with 10 cars, you'd have plenty of room to park and or work on cars. What cars do you have?

Hey GarageFan !
My apologies for taking so long to get back here, however, work, and a couple of other issues have kept me a little too busy ! Right now, I have a project '94 Jeep that I have gotten about halfway thru a V-8 conversion, a 1955 4 door ford sedan that I am making a convertible out of, a couple of ford P/U's, ( a '77 stepside, and a '94 L/B) and my old reliable, now semi retired, '91 Crown Vic ! Oh, also my 1969 Mercury Cougar, and my daily driver '02 Sonoma P/U ( 4 cyl. ), and last, my 8N Ford Tractor ! Whew...
Now, as far my building project, I am currently at 36 feet up, 14 feet left to put up, and then I get to tighten ALL the bolts !

Ah yes, tightening the bolts - whenever I work on a project, I always end up with extra nuts and bolts. Hope that doesn't happen on your garage project.

Don't forget to post photos of your progress.
