I am just starting out on my "dream garage". I still have too much junk in there which does not allow my car enough room to relax. After I order the 40ft dumpster and off load my crap where do folks recommend I start. Flooring? Wall stuff? Shoot me a note if you can help a newbie. Thanks

If you have any painting to do, I would paint first, then do flooring before you start setting stuff on the floor (like shelving units, etc.). Good luck--and be sure to post some "before" and "after " photos.

I'd say get as much stuff off the floor and up onto the walls using hooks, shelving, etc.. but like mentioned above, paint first if you haven't done so already.

Also make sure you have adequate lighting.
